Swimming in this area is undertaken at your own risk.
No Life Guard On Duty.
While we understand the allure of the water and the desire to enjoy recreational activitie such
as swimming in natural bodies of water.
Please be aware of some of the following risks:
Unpredictable Conditions:
- Natural bodies of water can have unpredictble currents, tides and weather conditions that may change rapidly and unexpectedly. These conditions can pose significant dangers, even to exerienced swimmers.
- Depth and Submerged Hazards: Depths may vary, and there may be submerged objects such as rocks, branches, or debris that are not visible from the surface. These hazards can cause injury or even dreowning if not approached with caution.
- Lack of Supervision: Unlike swimming pools, Merit Water Park does not have lifeguards or supervision. Swimmers are responsible for their own safety and must exercise caution at all times.
- Limited Emergency Responce: In the event of an emergency, response times may be delayed due to the remote location of the park. It is crucial to be prepared and aware of emergency procedures.
- Personal Health Considerations: Individuals with certain medical conditions or limitations should consult with a healthcare professional before swimming to ensure it is safe for them.
- Children: Must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
